It is not so widely known that Nostradamus was much more than a crazy prognosticator. He was a physician in the original sense of the word: a naturalist. His town in France erected a statue to him in honor of his having saved the town from the plague. Whereas in towns all around some half the population was dying, his town recorded NO CASES of the plague, because he knew what to do. Every morning he went out and gathered rose hips and petals, brought them back to his lab and converted them into a potent remedy against infection. He understood that the whole natural complexes were required by the body, and if they were adequately ingested the people were immune to infections and effects of the plague. The key here is the phrase "whole natural complex". Albert Szent György is the man who won a Nobel Prize in 1937 for his isolation ("discovery") of Vitamin C. In 1936 he wrote the science journal "Nature" a letter noting that ascorbic acid was NOT Vitamin C, as it could not cure scurvy (this was natural ascorbic acid isolated from the whole natural complex–no one knew yet how to synthesize it), whereas the whole natural complex (a concentrate from Hungarian red pepper) was extremely effective. These days the FDA has defined ascorbate as vitamin C, a serious error of ignorance. Since we have been misled to believe that ascorbic acid IS vitamin C we take those synthetic pills in the belief that we are meeting our real vitamin C need. Many whole natural complexes are substantially or completely destroyed by freezing (including freeze drying) or by cooking (particularly with microwave). We especially need the whole natural complexes of A, C, and E. We cannot acquire them from most supplements. When you take synthetic vitamins you increase your body’s excretion of the natural ones, leaving you even more deficient than before! Please see the footnote below. Almost all so-called "Vitamin C" in supplements is synthetic ascorbic acid or salts such as calcium or potassium ascorbate (it is called "natural" even though is is chemically made in a vat because it is made from “natural” corn sugar). The ascorbate molecule is only part of the whole natural complex and is there to protect the rest of the complex, which is why it is an antioxidant. Likewise, tocopherol is not really Vitamin E. It, too, is a molecular structure in place to protect the rest of the molecules in the natural Vitamin E complex. Research clearly shows that synthetic forms of the vitamins can be dangerous when ingested in large amounts. This information will be discussed in future editions of this newsletter. Minerals are extremely important also but that topic will also be discussed in future editions of this newsletter. Below I list the foods, in alphabetical order, with the highest concentrations of all three complexes (greater than 1 mg of each nutrient per 100 g / 3 ½ ounces of food). There are foods which are higher in one or two of the three, but this list only includes those which contain high amounts of all three. The foods listed here will also be rich in other nutrients, but remember, variety in the diet is perhaps the most important rule of good nutrition. Use liberal amounts of herbs and spices, as many of them are also rich nutrient sources as well as having natural antibiotic properties. Make sure they are organic if possible, because many herbs and spices have been irradiated, not to mention genetically modified. RAW VEGETABLES: Start eating those fresh raw salads! RAW FRUITS & BERRIES: RAW NUTS & SEEDS: Notice that there are far fewer fruits in this list than other foods. Note carefully that this list specifies RAW, as cooked or frozen foods, including freeze dried, lose large amounts of some nutrients. I don’t need to tell you what to avoid, do I? Why do I bring you this information right now? You already know that the world situation is most unfortunate. And, I believe, becoming worse. For several years the media have been warning about "the coming epidemics". The recent anthrax, SARS, and flu incidents or threats are just the beginning. People are scared, and the media only have one answer: give up your rights, take drugs, and beg for vaccination. (I personally will not take any of them. Vaccination will also be the topic in future newsletters!) I urge you, please consider carefully. HK BioEnergy test the products! If you do take any of those things, do SETs™ (for HK trained folks) or the Allergy Tap™ (get the Allergy Manual from the HK website, the link is below) beforehand or as soon as possible afterwards. Synthetic toxic materials never help you get healthier. The methods you learn in HK classes and on the HK website and this newsletter plus some common sense, along with a bit of knowledge, should be sufficient to protect you, your family, and all who are willing to listen. Specific steps: Eat right. Do SETs™ or the Allergy Tap™ with everyone, using saliva, earwax, tears, blood, urine, skin scrapes, etc., as needed or at the first hint of any problem. This procedure is the bioenergy correction for allergies and helps the body detoxify. Eat right. Do corrections for all those fears being generated now. Stress from fear will reduce the functioning of the immune system and reduce your critical thinking ability. HK students know how to do this, and some simple procedures will be described in an upcoming newsletter. The HK Office can help you find an HK Practitioner. Eat right. Take the proper whole natural complex supplements. This topic is very important and will be discussed further in future newsletters. Eat right. Live in a clean environment. Get an air purifier. Air cleaners should include at least three or four levels of protection: a) mechanical filter for larger dust and particles, b) electrostatic, for removing almost all other particles which ionize, c) HEPA (paper filter for very small particles which do not ionize), and d) activated carbon, for absorbing organic chemicals. Desk top or floor units are readily available. If you have forced air heating / air conditioning, then you can have a central system installed (which generally is less expensive than the stand-alone systems). I have these in my home and office. Even if your air cleaner does not have all these levels of protection, still use it–some cleaning is far better than none! Eat right! Get a water purifier. Carbon alone usually is inadequate, as it removes only some of the organic contaminants, while fluoride, aluminum, and other materials are left in the water. Reverse Osmosis is the best choice, but remember that not all RO units are equal. HK testing can reveal which units are adequate. Eat Right! Get some regular exercise. When properly done you need only about 10 minutes every other day for adequate results. Guess what–another future newsletter topic! Eat Right! Silver colloid can be sprayed on skin or other surfaces, added to suspect liquids or foods, and has been shown to be very effective when applied that way. Eat right! Skin should be slightly acid. Almost all soaps and shampoos are alkaline. Rinse with or use a spray of diluted vinegar to acidify the skin / hair. White distilled vinegar is OK for skin use (but not so good for ingestion) as well as apple cider vinegar. Many bacteria can only grow in an alkaline medium. (Fungus, such as Candida, however, needs an acid medium.) Eat right! Remember your HK skills and use them if you are already an HK student. If not, take some classes or find an HK practitioner. And, lest I forget, Eat Right! Do these things and take reasonable precautions and you and your family should remain safe from biological threats. Infection is not caused by microorganisms–it is allowed by a weak body. Footnote: Dr. Scott developed the SET™ (1980) and the Allergy Tap™ (1984) procedures. These are the original energy allergy techniques. He started developing HK itself in 1978. Tapping to stimulate acupuncture points is a very ancient procedure.
