Health Freedom
News, Feb 1993
Using a lesson from sailors of the past, who developed not only scurvy, but
also other strange symptoms when their bodies were deprived of Vitamin C, Dr.
Scott explains how our bodies can continue to function when lacking vital
nutrients. When we function with a deficit of nutrients, our body robs its
own reserves of those nutrients, causing symptoms to appear. Signs that tell
us we are lacking in Zinc are presented as an example. Dr. Scott then
explains how the body has a priority system for its use of nutrients. Certain
ailments / deficiencies need to be attended to before others will respond.
Health Kinesiology works with the body's own priority system to build health
in a lasting way.

Health
Freedom News, Jan 1993
This
article quickly reviews several alternative forms of health care available
today, including: nutrition, allergy treatment, naturopathy, applied
kinesiology, and health kinesiology. One should not assume that an MD who has
been trained in an alternative method is a better practitioner of that
technique. Look for someone who has thorough training in that area. Dr. Scott
discusses such issues as training and qualifications of practitioners,
finding referrals, and which questions to ask your prospective practitioner.
He reminds us that we must take responsibility for our own health, even when
dealing with conventional healers.

world and can put a natural health practitioner at risk. He outlines some

making private contracts with clients, and joining private membership
organizations. This is part one of a two part article, published in our own
newsletter, to be continued.

Health Freedom
News, December 1984
Dr. Scott explains that many health problems that do not respond to treatment
may actually find their cause in hidden allergies. Allergic reactions are now
understood to include symptoms like: digestive difficulties, muscular aches
and pains, arthritis, inadequate blood sugar control, addictions, and
psychological problems. Yet even these symptoms may be hidden. He outlines
three ways in which allergic symptoms are masked: (1) by mucus in the body,
(2) not being directly observable, and (3) not being recognized as allergic
symptoms at all. He then describes steps you can take to unearth those hidden
allergies.
