Healing Stories
I am at the top!
by Judy Gurley

Judy, pictured above, is one of our original group of
Authorized HK™ Teachers. Although in 1994 she ‘retired’ from teaching HK™, Judy
is anything but retired! Not only is she a wonderful, caring, HK™
Practitioner, but also a maker of labyrinths, superb gardener, great
decorator, and master of many other skills.
As long as I can remember, I have believed that prayer
changes everything, but in spite of my belief I was unable to manifest the
specific emotional, behavioral, and physical body healing I desired. Through
Health Kinesiology I learned why my specific prayers about body function,
feelings, and responses did not seem to get answered. (In reality they were
being answered because I was introduced to Jimmy Scott and HK™.)
My HK™ experience taught me
that instead of praying that the mitral valve in my heart would cease to
prolapse, I needed a mechanism for self forgiveness. I needed to be free from
inappropriate childhood programming. I needed to nourish my heart with
protein-bound iodine, to cleanse my liver, and to support the glands that
comprise the back up system for my heart. I believe that in both prayer and
kinesiology, the source being consulted is the same, and it is important to
remember that we receive exactly what we request.
Issue Analysis is a comprehensive HK™ system which
provides an accurate means to understand the needs of the whole person. HK™
energy corrections provide a way to heal. Until we are able to simply speak
the word and manifest our own healing in the twinkling of an eye, we will all
benefit from HK™.
The picture you see of me
with outstretched arms was taken by my husband when we finished climbing
Malign Lake Mountain in the Jasper National Park. We climbed on ordinary
cross country skis from an elevation of 3,600 feet to 7,200 feet. The last
part of the climb was narrow and steep. When we reached the pinnacle, a flood
of gratitude came over me. Grateful thoughts of being privileged to be
viewing this majesty and perfection resonated throughout my being.
Immediately following were thoughts and feelings of gratitude for all the HK™
work that made this trek possible. In 1987 I could barely climb a flight of
stairs and now at age 52 had climbed to this glorious point. I was thankful
for the genius of Dr. Jimmy Scott who for 18 years has been totally committed
to building a healing system appropriate for all people in all situations.
Next I heard myself say, “I AM at the top!”
