Chana's
Successes
by Chana Lazaroff
Chana
Lazaroff is a Physical Therapist (PT) who qualified to teach
Health
Kinesiology. She lives in Baltimore, Maryland,
USA, with her husband, two daughters, and two adopted boys
with special
needs.
She graduated from the University of Maryland
School of Medicine in the early 70’s, and began her
career in the healing arts by specializing in physical therapy
with multiply-challenged
children.
Chana has
said, “I feel that HK is the culmination of all the healing
techniques I've experienced. It allows me to be creative with
all modalities, while enhancing the individual and synergistic
power of each one.” Chana has introduced HK into traditional
PT sessions, and found that her clients’ progress
was quicker and more broad-based than usual.
Fred, a man
in his 30’s, complained of severe pain down the outside
of his right leg. At times, the pain was so excruciating that
he simply had to lay still for a half hour to let it subside.
This occurred repeatedly throughout the day. His chiropractor
had provided temporary help over the previous two years, but
after taking his final set of x-rays, he discharged Fred, stating
he could no longer assist him.
During his
two visits to me, I began each session with HK Meridian Energy
Balancing, followed by various HK Energy Corrections. Immediately,
Fred noticed a decrease in pain frequency, intensity, and duration.
Within three weeks of his last session he became pain free.
Joseph, 15
months old, has Down's Syndrome. I became his PT when he was
12 months old. His muscle tone was severely hypotonic: he was
unable to sit up, and could not bear weight on his legs. Rolling
was his only mobility. He had minimal eye contact and limited
vocalizations, and his speech and occupational therapists reported
that he slept for most of his sessions with them.
I saw Joseph
twice per week in his home. To date of this writing,
he has had four HK sessions. (Even those sessions that are “strictly” PT
begin with HK Meridian Energy Balancing.) Almost
immediately after we began his HK corrections, Joseph became more
alert.
He now stays awake through his entire therapy
period, has good eye contact and socially engages with others.
His gross motor
development has also improved: he belly crawls,
comes to sit, gets on hands and knees, pulls to stand, can stand
for several
minutes, and even takes several steps with help.
Additionally, he is much more active and alert, demonstrates more
interest
in his environment, and has become quite vocal.
